“White House Down”

white_house_down_channing_tatum-t2Opening June 28, 2013 in the USA and September 6, 2013 in the UK, “White House Down” follows John Cale (Channing Tatum) as he takes a tour of the White House. When the complex is overrun by a paramilitary group, Cale must race to save the President, his daughter and the rest of the country. Directed by Roland Emmerich, the film stars Jamie Foxx, as President Sawyer; Maggie Gyllenhaal, as Finnerty; and Jason Clarke, as Stenz.

Rated PG-13 for prolonged sequences of action and violence including intense gunfire and explosions, some language and a brief sexual image, the film runs for 2 hours 11 minutes. This Action/Drama Thriller is distributed by Mythology Entertainment. Already getting bad reviews, it will be interesting to see how this does in the box office when it is released next weekend. Filmed on location of Washington, District of Columbia, USA, the film hopes to make up their $150 Million budget and then some. Will you go see this movie when it comes out?
